Hoodie - Unisex - SUPPORT A CHARITY - Art from South Africa SA02 (Hoodie in multiple colors)
Support a charity / young artist in South Africa!
The design on this shirt is originally hand-dyed with textile paint by a young talented artist from South Africa.
AfricanFabs has digitized this dyed design for him, so it can be printed in high quality on for example hoodies and t-shirts.
Because AfricanFabs would like to support this talented artist from South Africa, we decided to give his art a stage in this way. Also, the profit of each shirt sold goes directly to Siphenatie. This with the help of the Nemato foundation, which is in close contact with him.
About the artist Siphenati
My name is Siphenati Dike and I am 21 years old. I grew up in a foster home in Alexandria, South Africa where I lived with about 80 children. I have always loved to draw and I think I have my grandfather's talent. Unfortunately, I never knew him, as did my parents. Both passed away and when I was 16 I wanted to live with my aunt in the Township. With help from the Nemato Foundation who always helped me with painting materials (and a place in a gallery where some of my paintings could be exhibited ) I was able to set up a small business in textile painting.
The name of my small business is : Ntlanes Empire. Although I am not earning much from it yet, I am very proud of what I have already accomplished.
